CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT (FIELD REPLACEMENT): HELPFUL Please see below for messaging from our district Capital Projects Manager, Jim Price
The status of the project is as follows:
The project has been bid and Premier Field Development is under contract to perform the work.
The City of Shoreline is in the process of reviewing the permit drawings. They have released a permit review comment letter which is being addressed by the design team. This process has taken longer than expected, so the release date of the permit could impact the current start date of the project. We are closely monitoring this status.
The Contract is tentatively scheduled to mobilize on site sometime after the 4th of July holiday. This is contingent on the City releasing the permit.
The work is scheduled to run from July through October with the final completion date occurring on October 31st. The release of the permit could also impact the final completion date.
The field will be synthetic turf with cork infill which was used on previous projects at Echo Lake and Parkwood. We are not using crumb rubber infill. Alsol, there are new soccer goals and ball control netting installed on the east and west ends of the field. I have attached a site plan which shows the new field and soccer line layout.
